SmartGuard Security are proud to be able to introduce a new technology to the market. 

The ASCOM device provides a low cost option for services ranging from full building management systems to selective services such as alarm response, access protection, temperature monitoring, in fact any device that provides an electrical output can be remotely monitored.  The device works through your normal broadband/fibre optic connection and each device can monitor up to 16 devices.

The device is able to cater for activations up to the highest alert level and gives full GPRS failover in the event of broadband connection issues.  The beauty is that most commercial buildings already have permanent 24/7 broadband so this device takes away the need and the recurring cost for additional monitoring lines such as leased line or ISDN.  The technology usually pays for itself in a short period of time but also provides added value through the unique way in which it works.

This technology is being launched during 2011 – be one of the first to look at utilising this technology and see the immediate benefit.  Some examples of what this can do for you:

• Monitor refrigerator temperatures and send alerts via SMS
• Monitor back doors and activate camera(s) when tripped – sending alert to the monitoring centre or SMS to the client. Access to the camera images can be achieve through the internet
• Monitor alarms (Fire, Access control etc) and trigger a protocol in the event of activation
• Monitor air conditioning and heating systems and trigger alert in the event of failure – the alert can be sent direct to your approved repair agent in various forms such as SMS or contact direct from our control centre

The range of applications for this technology is truly unlimited.
